Good news as about $500,000 of the Walk On Walk Strong funds that was frozen in Fiji Cancer Society bank accounts will finally be released to WOWS Kids Fiji tomorrow.
Majority of the funds that was collected for WOWS is through the 2012 Walk On Walk Strong campaign where you the listeners of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam contributed towards the worthy cause.
WOWS Kids Fiji has confirmed that they will finally be receiving the funds from Fiji Cancer Society today in a cheque handover at 1pm.
Sina Kami who is the late Tae Kami’s mother and the person who was behind the setting up of the WOWS campaign, said she wants to thank all the listeners of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam for taking part in the cause to assist the children of Fiji.
