About four hundred people will be involved in the construction of the casino and convention centre.
Developers One Hundred Sands Limited Chairperson Larry Claunch said the employment of locals will begin from the construction stage.

Currently works have not started at the new site near the entrance to Denarau.
It only has a fence with the developers’ signboard.
Claunch said works will start from next week and the project will take 12 to 15 months to complete.
