Almost 3000 individuals who were employees of small businesses in the Western Division are currently without jobs after the recent floods.
Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation Executive Ambalika Kutty said their team and charity partners who have been assisting those affected by the flood made a assessment of people who have lost their jobs.
She said many small businesses were affected in Ba, Rakiraki and Tavua and are currently closed.
Kutty said they are planning on setting up some income generation projects to help support these people and their families.
