Six men who were charged in relation to the ATM robbery at Kundan Singh Supermarket in 2006 have been set free by the Magistrates court this morning after the lawyer for the DPP could not proceed with the case.

Magistrate Amaniasi Katonivualiku read the charges against Jekesoni Vuli, Pauliasi Koroitamana, Jonetani Tawake, Tupou Vuetaki, Tupou Vakatalesau, kaliopate Toka and Mesake Sinu after which they pleaded not guilty to the 9 counts of charges laid against them.

Magistrate Katonivualiku then said that the DPP's office was not in a position to proceed with the case and so he acquitted the six on all counts.

The six were alleged to have pulled out the Westpac ATM at Kundan Singh and stole $60,000 after breaking into the machine.
