Amalgmated Telecom Holdings will today try to meet Interim Commerce and Communication Minister, Taito Waradi to get an update on reports that current telecommunication license holders will be issued new licenses tomorrow.
ATH Chief Executive Tomasi Vakatora said they are unaware of the developments so far after reports that the new agreements will be signed between the three carriers and the interim government tomorrow.
Takatora said they are not aware of this.
The details of the Raddison Accord signed between FINTEL, Vodafone, Telecom Fiji and the interim government to end the monopoly status of the three carriers remains a closely guarded secret by stakeholders at this stage.
