Despite recording a substantial drop in revenue, telecom giants Amalgamated Telecom Holdings stresses that it is still a profitable organisation.
ATH recorded a 28.2% decline in profit for the year ending March 31st, 2009 which stood at $33.14 million compared to $46.14 million for the previous year.
However, ATH still managed to record a 5.4% increase in consolidated sales revenue and Chief Executive Officer Tomasi Vakatora said ATH managed to achieve this despite the challenges.
Vakatora said they are optimistic things will turn around with the cost cutting measures being taken across the board.
