The ATH Group's in Touch call centre at Raiwai is set to open for business in September as a key investment for tapping new markets.

ATH Chief Executive Tomasi Vakatora described the InTouch project as critical for the ATH role as an internationally competitive ICT investor in the Pacific, stating it has been receiving good support from its partner from India, InTouch Solutions Limited which is rated as one of the subcontinents top Business Processing Outsourcing companies.

Vakatora also announced that staff recruitment was proceeding for the operation of 150 computer terminals.

He added that initially the centre would handle calls for the ATH Group of companies and would include customer and sales inquiries, product data, order processing, help lines and billings and invoicing support.

Vakatora said the 2nd phase was to provide support to other local companies and organisations, and finally it would concentrate on New Zealand, Australia and the US west coast.
