Last year’s Deans semifinalist Assemblies of God High School have started their Southern Division rugby competition on a high thumping Laucala Bay Secondary 40-nil yesterday afternoon.
In another Under 18 grade match, John Wesley College beat Ratu Sukuna Memorial school 8-3.
In the Under 17 grade matches, Marist Brothers High beat Laucala Bay Secondary 6-nil, Gospel High edged Latter Day Saints 8-7, Lami High school defeated Basden College 12-5, Nasinu Secondary lost to Assemblies of God 9-3 while Suva Grammar school defeated Cathedral Secondary 22-nil.
In the Under 14 grade, Marist Brothers High beat Suva Grammar
13-nil.
