They created history last week and now they are aiming for the Southern Zone secondary schools under 18 rugby title.

Assemblies of God High School have booked their place in one of the Deans quarter finals but they want to finish this weekends final against Nasinu Secondary on a high.

AOG captain Malakai Vereivalu said that they may not have the best players but they do have what it takes to create this years historic win.


In the finals next week, AOG will meet their rivals and neighbors Nasinu Secondary, RSMS and Marist Brothers High will clash in the under 17, while Suva Grammar and Marist will meet in the under 16, 15 and 14 grades respectively.

Meanwhile, the losing semifinalists still have a chance to qualify for the Deans competition if they win the third place playoffs this week.

Suva Grammar and Marist Brothers High School will battle it out in the under 18, John Wesley College and Dudley High in the under 17, Laucala Bay Secondary and Ratu Sukuna Memorial School meet in the under 16, Dudley High faces John Wesley in the under 15 while LDS meets Dudley high in the under 14 grade.
