Customers of ANZ Bank will now be able to sell their products online and accept payments directly into their bank account after ANZ launched a new online payments platform called eGate.
Manager Electronic Business Solution ANZ Fiji, Jean Bentley said eGate enables merchants to accept and process payments by credit card through their website.
Meanwhile, Edward Price the Managing director of the local company Cedar Web Conusltant that worked with ANZ on eGate, said the launch of the facility means opening up of massive business opportunities in Fiji.
He said this will not only benefit large businesses but also the small businesses that may be looking at introducing their local products online.
