Spreading awareness of the dangers of HIV Aids to students through the use of music is proving to be a success.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Ministry of Health's HIV AIDS Project Officer Maca Racule said through partnership with the Ministry of Education the formation of the Fiji Students Stand Against Aids or better known as Fiji STAHS, directly targets students.
Racule adds through music and songs which youths often can relate to, education of this deadly disease will be more effective.
The Fiji STAHS peer education program is currently being piloted in eleven schools and if successful will be launched to more schools next year.
