Attorney General and Tourism Minister Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum stressed the importance of Tourism to more than 80 Chiefs and Tikina representatives of the Ba Provincial Council Meeting at Studio Six last night.
Sayed Khaiyum said that Tourism compared to sugar has a quick reactive time.
Provincial Council Chairman Ratu Meli Saukuru earlier told members that what the Attorney General had to say was important as 51 percent of the tourism industry is within the Ba province.
The meeting will resume at 8:30 am this morning.
