If you were to talk to the ordinary citizens in Fiji, many people are focused in terms of what the government is delivering.
Those were the words of Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum in a debate with one of the 1997 Constitution architects Dr Brij Lal on the abrogation of Fiji’s Constitution last year that was aired on Radio Australia on Good Friday that just ended.
Sayed-Khaiyum attacked Lal who claimed to know what the feeling is at the ground level about the government.
Sayed-Khaiyum said Lal is just basing his argument on just a few people’s comments.
Sayed-Khaiyum said this is contradictory to what most people in the country feel about what is happening.
