The Fiji government is calling on the trade unions in Australia and New Zealand to properly assess what is happening in Fiji and not just listen to trade unionists like Felix Anthony, Daniel Urai and Rajeshwar Singh who are now pushing for trade union sanctions against Fiji.

Anthony, Urai and Singh have met with the Australian Council of Trade Unions and the Transport Workers Union of Australia and reports have emerged that they have asked the Australian unions to impose trade union sanctions.

Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum called on the Australian unions to also assess whether the government is looking after the vulnerable employees of the country.
