The Interim Attorney General has raised concerns on the decision of the Pacific Islands Leaders forum to give the interim government an ultimatum on the election timetable under the Biketawa declaration.
Speaking to our reporter Petrina Zinck in Port Morseby after the meeting, Sayed-Khaiyum stressed that there is no crisis in Fiji to warrant such a move by the Pacific Leaders.
The interim Attorney General said he also stressed to the Leaders the reasons and the need to change the electoral system in Fiji before elections can be held.
