Current Chairman of Airports Fiji Limited has alleged that there was a lack of direction and inadequate systems put in place by the previous Board which has allowed the abuse of funds within the company.
After a special investigation report by the Auditor General into AFL revealed several cases of alleged mismanagement and lack of accountability by the former Board and Management, Digby Bossely told Village news that they are now taking steps to implement the recommendations by the Auditor General.
However, former CEO of AFL Ratu Sakiusa Tuisolia told Village news that under his leadership and the former Board, AFL achieved several milestones as they managed to turn the company around.
According to Tuisolia the Auditor Generals findings are baseless and called on the current board to stop pointing fingers and get on with the job.
