Air Ports Fiji Limited is confident that a resolution will be found to the standoff with the Fiji Public Service Association and the Air Traffic Management Association who have served a Notice of Strike Action on AFL.
AFL Chairman Digby Bossely told Fijivillage that some of the grievances of the workers have not been looked into by previous Board and Management.
FPSA General Secretary Rajeshwar Singh said the AFL had not taken any concrete steps to resolve the association's outstanding disputes and grievances, adding they have failed to honor awards, judgments and rulings given in favor of the association's members in AFL for the past several years including COLA Log of Claims.
Singh added the AFL owes the association members approximately $4M back pay and other benefits stretching back to the year 2000.
