Adi Cakobau School has retained the girl’s division title at the Triple N Zone although the 4x100 and 4x400 metres finals are yet to be completed.

ACS have a commanding lead now with 21 gold, 17 silver and 5 bronze while Lelean is in second place with 5 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze.

But the boy’s division title could be decided in the last events, with Lelean and Sila Central as the front runners.

Lelean Memorial remains in first place with 10 gold, 10 silver and 10 bronze.

Sila Central with 9 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze is in second place.

Meanwhile, on the second day today, Adi Cakobau School has so far set four new records.

ACS set a new record in the Junior Girls 4x100 metres heats with a new time of 50.9 seconds.

In the Senior Girls Shot Put, Sereseini Savui set a new record with a throw of 12.66 metres.

In the Inter Girls 800 metres final, Sereseini Naolo broke the record with a new time of 2.36.00 seconds and in the Senior Girls 800 metres final Mereula Salote finished her race in a time of 2.38.00 seconds to set a new record.

The Triple N Zone finishes later this afternoon at the TFL National Stadium.
