Coca Cola Games girls defending champions, Adi Cakobau School know that it will not be an easy ride for them when this year's meet kicks off on Friday.
ACS head-coach, Komera Tuicakau said that after the Triple N zone, the athletics went back and polished on the weaknesses to help them improve in this week's meet.
Tuicakau added that her girls will have to work extra hard as other schools have improved significantly in their times and distances during the zone meets.
Meanwhile, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed the Fiji Police Force will be stepping up security at the two day Coca Cola Games meet, and all police units will be present to ensure that the law is enforced.
Sokomuri said this is to ensure safety and security for everyone at the games and has also sent out a strong warning to people who are thinking of bringing in drugs to think twice, as the police will be patrolling the area with their dog unit to detect the drugs.
The 2010 Coca Cola Games kicks off at the TFL stadium at 9am on Friday.
ACS is the defending champions in the girls division while Suva Grammar is the defending champions in the boys division.
