Only a week remains for the Annual Coca Cola Games meet and girl’s champions Adi Cakobau School is keeping a low profile as they gear their athletes up for this prestigious event.

ACS long distance runner and South Pacific Games 3000 metres Gold medalist Akesa Drotini will not be moved by warnings from Sisilia Moala of St Johns College, to dethrone her in the 3000 metres event next week.

Moala who took out the Gold in the event in the Ovalau Zone has always been running in the short distances, but is adamant to excel also in the long distance, and is looking forward to taking on Akesa Drotini.

Drotini ran the 3000 metres in 12 minutes and 51 seconds in the Triple N Zone, a time she felt was wrong after the officials told her to run an extra round.

The two-day Coca Cola Games kicks off at the TFL National Stadium next Friday.

Suva Grammar is the defending champions for the Boys while ACS is the champions in the Girls Division.
