Adi Cakobau School head girl, Ana Kaloucava is ready to lead by example to assist her school in retaining the overall girls title this afternoon in the Triple N Zone meet at the TFL Stadium.

Speaking to Fijivillage Sports after winning the gold medal in the 400 meter senior grade division, Kaloucava said that with the final of the 200 meter and relay coming up today, the Sawani girls are not taking anything for granted.

Also looking impressive in winning the inter-girls 100 meter finals is Elenoa Sailosi.

Sailosi clocked a time of 12.10 seconds in the final and is also favourite to win the 200 meters this afternoon.

She believes that with her current time she will do well in the Powerade Games.

The first event of day 2 is at 9am and it will be the 3,000 meter final where Akesa Drotini is expected to win her second gold for ACS.

After day 1, ACS leads in the girls division with 15 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze.

Lelean is second with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze while Sila Central is 3rd with 3 silver and 1 broze.

In the boys category, Lelean is in first place with 9 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze.

Sila is in second place with 4 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze while Rewa Secondary in third place with 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze.
