Another chapter in the history of the Coca Cola Games was closed yesterday as the games ended at the TFL stadium, and defending boys and girls champions, Suva Grammar and Adi Cakobau, both defended their titles again.

Suva Grammar's win yesterday has taken their tally to four, while Adi Cakobau has made it again, 10 years in a row.

Sawani coach Komera Tuicakau said ACS faced a lot of competition at this year=s games, causing the stretch in the distribution of medals, but it was sheer hardwork that carried the girls through.

Tuicakau added that most teachers asked for her winning recipe, and she replied that the girls have the talent, all that they did was develop the talent and they reaped the rewards at the end of the day.

Looking at the official Fijivillage Medal Tally Suva Grammar finishes of their 2010 Coca Cola games campaign with, 10 Gold, 3 Silver, Marist Brothers came in second with 7 Gold, 8 Silver and 2 bronze, Xavier College from Ba came in third with 5 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 bronze, followed by Ratu Navula with 3 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze.

In the girls division ACS successfully defended their title for the 10th year in a row and walked away with 13 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 bronze, Suva Grammar took second place with 6 Gold, 6 Silver and 1 Bronze, while Napuka secondary from Vanua Levu came third with 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze.

Suva Grammaer sprints coach Jone Delai said that it was sweet victroy for them, after losing out to Marist Brothers in the Suva Zone 2 meet and especially as the school will be celebrating their 50th birthday in July.
