Old and current students alike of the Adi Cakobau School have gathered today at the Sukuna Park to launch the school's Diamond Jubilee celebrations or their 60 years in existence.
Chief Guest, the Lord Mayor Ratu Peni Volavola said the school has contributed alot to the country in terms of the students who have gone to the school and have made a difference in Fiji.
Ratu Volavola has thanked the school for their contribution and upholding of tradition and culture in today's generation.
Celebrations initially started with a service of the Old Scholars last week, continuing with a march this morning from the Suva Flea Market to the Sukuna Park, where celebrations and a number of activies are currently going on.
ACS has sported a number of names known around Fiji like Former Education Minister Taufa Vakatele, Soqosoqo Vakamarama President Adi Finau Tabakaucoro and many more.
The main celebration will be in October.
