ACS, Lalean favourites to retain Triple N Zone title
The girls from Sawani have been keeping a low profile in their preparation this year, but they still have the core of the team that walked away with the top prize last year.
ACS has been ruling the Triple N Zone for the past 10 years and also dominate the national meet.
Young sprinter Elenoa Sailosi is one of the key athletes in the team who won 3 gold medal last year in the Coca Cola Games.
In the boys division, Lelean's chances of winning the title again is boosted with the presence of former Natabua and Suva Grammar sprinter Isoa Me.
Me is a 400 and 200 metres specialist and Lelean will look to him to guide them through this year.
Lelean will face tough competition from Sila Central which has produced some best athlete in the past years.
The Triple N Zone will start at the TFL Stadium today at 8.45am.
