Adi Cakobau School's top athlete Alena Vadrasamu is aiming for a hatrick in the Senior Girls 100m final during the Coca Cola Light Games.

Vadrasamu, who will compete in the Senior Girls for the third time in a row, is favourite to win the 100m final after winning the event for the last two years.

She has the second seeded time in the heats of 12.30s while Suva Grammar School's Makelesi Tumalevu is another athlete favoured for the event, as she holds a better time of 12.10s.

But everything will come down to the wire after the heats when the Senior Girls 100m final will kick off at around 6:21pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Marist Brothers High School will go in as one of the top bets to win the boys division title. In the last 39 years the Flagstaff school in Suva has won 25 Coca Cola Light Games titles.

And since the introduction of medals in 1992, Marist Brothers have just lost four times, twice to Suva Grammar and one each to RKS and QVS.

The Coca Cola Light Games officially starts tomorrow morning at 8:15am with the Open Girls 1500m final with the likes of Akesa Drotini and Wainimala's Noela Taqai running in that event.
