Police are trying to gather evidence and substantiate allegations leveled against Assistant Police Commissioner Crime, Nasir Ali.
Deputy Police Commissioner, Eroni Antonio said that a team has been set up to look into the allegations against Ali and said that they are treating the allegations seriously.
He said if they have enough evidence against ACP Ali then there are chances that he may be sent on leave pending investigations.
ACP Ali is under investigated after a Police Support officer lodged a report that he was unlawfully detained at the Central Police Station. The officer claims that he was detained without any reason and has not been charged as yet.
There are two other complaints against ACP Ali.
