Defending IRB Sevens Series champion, the All Blacks sevens team will be without several of their star players heading into Gold Coast Sevens tournament next week.
Only four players from last season remain with the team that includes captain DJ Forbes, Tomasi Cama Jnr, Lote Raikabula and Tim Mickelson.
Speaking to Fijivillage from New Zealand, All Blacks Sevens coach Gordon Tietjens confirmed that he will be naming his 12 member team this Thursday which will include a lot of new faces.
The All Blacks 7s team lost to Fiji in the Cup final of the Gold Coast tournament last year.
They are in Pool A with South Africa, USA and Canada.
The Gold Coast Sevens kicks off next Saturday with Fiji playing Scotland at 2.42pm in its first pool match.
Fiji will play Tonga at 5.58pm and will then play Australia at 9.46pm.
