Fiji born winger, Sitiveni Sivivatu has been dropped from the All Blacks 30 man squad for Rugby World Cup which was announced in Brisbane this afternoon.

Cory Jane and Victor Vito earn recalls after missing the initial 30 man squad named at the beginning of the international season.

Also earning a recall is North Harbour lock Anthony Boric, who has missed the last three months with a foot injury.

Prop John Afoa has been retained in the side, while Isaia Toeava and Zac Guildford join Jane out wide.

Vito was brought in to the All Blacks squad that traveled to South Africa last week as cover, with the likes of Richie McCaw and Kieran Read left at home to rest.

He played on 11 minutes off the bench in Port Elizabeth but gets the nod from the selectors ahead of Messam, who had a disappointing game against the Springboks.

Other players to miss out are Hosea Gear and Sitiveni Sivivatu as well as prop Wyatt Crockett, lock Jarrad Hoeata and number eight Liam Messam.

The exclusion of Chiefs winger Sivivatu spells the end of his 45 test All Blacks career, as he is set to head to France at the conclusion of this season.
