Richie McCaw is off the market.

The All Blacks captain confirmed yesterday he is in a new relationship, just weeks after re signing with New Zealand rugby for four more years.

Mountain Scene newspaper reported the world's best open side flanker was dating journalist Nicola Grigg.

They are friends from university days and pictures of them strolling arm in arm have been published this week.

Grigg was living in Queenstown working in marketing for NZSki until last summer and rumours of the romance have been the talk of the town.

McCaw has kept a low profile in terms of his private life since breaking up with former snow boarder and TV host Hayley Holt several years ago.
