It was a record year for the Communications Fiji Limited Group, parent company of Legend FM, Fijivillage.com, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Sargam last year, where the Company achieved an after tax profit of $1.4 million profit.
Speaking after the company's AGM today, CFL Managing Director, William Parkinson said the record result has come through the hard work of the workers.
Parkinson is also confident about 2010 following the confirmation of a new partnership with Damodar Village Cinemas in Fiji.
Parkinson said 2009 was a transformational year for Unwired Fiji with the new partner, Data Nets Ltd, they have injected new capital along with considerable knowledge and experience in the IT Industry.
