The week long meeting of the Methodist Church of Fiji in the chiefly village of Naduri, in Macuata next week, will have a lot on the agenda where the church leaders, elders and members will give their view on how they will want to see the church move forward.

It has been confirmed that in the first two days of the meeting, the discussion will be based around the church affairs, together with the financial position of the church.

They will also look at next year's budget regarding any major developments that the church is planning to take on board.

General Secretary, Reverend Ame Tugawe, said that a decision on whether the church will pay their $435 thousand dollar debt to the interim government will be discussed on either Wednesday or Thursday.

Tugawe added that the church's stand on the interim government is clear and it will only be discussed if church elders bring it up during the meeting.

So far, more that $2 million 26 thousand dollars has been collected in the choir competition.

The one week choir competition will come to an end tonight at Furnival Park.
