It’s a day to rejoice for mothers around the country as we celebrate Mothers Day today.
In most households, mothers will be served by their children during lunch while for those who have lost their beloved mothers it was a time to reflect on their teachings and values.
Mothers also led the service in most of the churches to show the importance of their role in the society.
Fijivillage spoke to some families on how they celebrating Mothers Day.
And Soqosoqo Vakamarama, the largest women’s organization in the country, General Secretary Adi Finau Tabakaucoro has called on family to support their mothers in their daily lives.
