A day of merrymaking, meeting long time friends, getting to know more people from other areas of Fiji and learning about issues of concern and how to tackle them are some of things women at the Catholic Women's League Annual Conference will be doing today.
The Conference held at St Peter Channel's Parish in Korolevu has 600-700 women participating in activities like facilitated panel discussions and the soli amongst others.
General Secretary Cathy Kasatoka said today is their soli and they expect to raise more than $50,000 as all parishes in the country are taking part.
Women from Rotuma, Rabi and Kioa also made it to Korolevu for the conference which will end tomorrow with their Annual General Meeting where new officials are expected to be chosen.
