A Fijian part of the Australian Press Club discussion
Legend FM News Director Vijay Narayan took part in the Australian Press Club question and answer session attended by Australian political leaders, foreign Heads of State and leaders from all fields of society.
Narayan asked the guest speaker and leader of the Australian Greens Party Senator Christine Milne about the asylum seeker issue in the Pacific.
Senator Milne said the Greens Party does not support what Australia is doing in relation to asylum seekers.
Milne also said that the asylum seeker issue is Australia's problem and not the Pacific's.
Narayan also asked Milne about Fiji being re-engaged back into the Pacific Island Leaders Forum.
Senator Milne said they are open to having discussions about this issue.
Vijay Narayan also spoke to Milne afterwards who said that she will make sure that everything is done in relation to the issues raised.
Meanwhile, the Australian Federal Elections will be held this Saturday.
