A 9-year-old boy drowned at a resort in Nadi yesterday.
Police spokesperson Josaia Weicavu said the incident happened at about midday when the boy was swimming in the pool.
The 9-year-old was at the resort with his family.
Weicavu said investigations continue and the post mortem is expected to be conducted soon.
When questioned by Fijivillage, Weicavu confirmed that Police are also investigating whether there was parental negligence.
