Nine new players have forced their way in the 16 member Digicel Fiji 7's team for the New Zealand and Las Vegas leg of the IRB 7's series after their two day performance at the Uprising Fiji International 7s.

The Digicel Fiji Barbarians managed to beat their fellow FMF Fiji Warriors side 31-12 to scoop the Uprising Fiji International 7s Cup and $25,000 prize.

The new nine players are Jone Vota, Mosese Saunivanua, Sasa Veremalua, Peni Ravai, Joshua Tuisova, Sakiusa Gavidi, Manasa Naiyagi, Emosi Mulevoro and Benito Eramasi.

Making a comeback to the team is Nemani Nagusa.

Other players in the team are Ulaiasi Lawavou, Setefano Cakau, Manueli Laqai, Joji Raqamate, Ilai Tinai and Samisoni Viriviri.

The notable exclusion from the team is Osea Kolinisau who was making his comeback.

The team marches into camp on Monday and later in the week the final 12 member team will be named for the New Zealand and Las Vegas tournaments.

Meanwhile, Australian Thunderbolts won the plate after defeating Samoan Barbarians 19-14, URF Army won the Bowl by beating Tokatoka Barbarians 26-0, while LICI Police thrashed FWCC Red Rock 33-7 to win the Shield. 

FMF Warriors were given $5,000 prize as runners up.
