The Lautoka Football Association has placed an indefinite suspension on 9 of their key players ahead of the opening pool game of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants this Sunday.
President Shalen Prasad said Alifereti Baleiloa, Samu Kautoga, Isimeli Nakosia, Valerio Nawatu, Osea Vakatalesau, Ilaitia Tuilau, Niu-maia Tagi, Apisai Smith and Leone Vuru-kania will not play for the sugar city in the BOG.
Prasad added the players will now appear infront of a disciplinary committee on the 23rd of this month and it is highly likely that they may not feature for Lautoka again.
Meanwhile, players like Krishna Sami, Shameel Rao, Marika Madigi, Jone Vono Jnr and Arivindra Naidu will play for Lautoka in the upcoming BOG.
Lautoka will play Nasinu in their opening BOG pool game on Sunday at 12pm at the TFL Stadium.
