Nine men of the armed forces will know their fates next week after they were found guilty of manslaughter in Sakiusa Rabaka's death two years ago.
Guily are soldiers, Taione Lua, Ulaiasi Radike, Etonia Nadura, Ratunaisa Toutou, Joeli Lesavua, Jona Nareki, Ilaisa Kurimavua, Napolioni Naulia and Former Police Officer, Patrick Nayacalagilagi.
Rabaka's mother, Alanieta said that she has been waiting for the past two years for one of the accused to ask for forgiveness or at least tell her what transpired leading to her son's death, however this did not happen.
The men were granted an extension of bail and are to be sentenced after submissions and mitigation are heard next Tuesday.
