9 Fijians will be in action during the Super Rugby season this year for their respective team when the competition starts next Friday.

Wallabies and Reds blind side flanker, Radike Samo is leading the charge playing for the defending champion and the Brisbane outfit.

Other Fijian players in Australia are Jerry Yanuyanutawa, Henry Speight and Tevita Kuridrani who will all play for the Brumbies.

Former Clermont and Flying Fijians wing, Napolioni Nalaga has settled well into the Western Force team.

In the NZ super franchise teams, David Raikuna will play for the Blues while Maretino Nemani Junior and Asaeli Tikoirotuma are playing for the Chiefs this year.

Former Suva winger Patrick Osborne is in the Crusaders line up which also has majority of the All Blacks in the team in the likes of Richie McCaw, Dan Carter, Andy Ellis, Sam Whitelock, Kieran Read, Owen Franks, Corey Flynn, Zac Guildford and Israel Dagg.

The 2012 Super Rugby season kicks off next Friday with the Crusaders playing the Blues, Force is up against the Brumbies and the rest of team will play in their own conference on Saturday and Sunday morning.
