An 8 year old girl is the latest drowning victim.
Police confirmed the 8 year old girl of Vatukoula disappeared while swimming yesterday with her parents and brother.
Her body was later recovered.
The incident occurred at around 10.30 yesterday morning.
The drowning toll now stands at 16 compared to 11 last year.
