8 year-old Rosamarie Rova of Nadi Barracudas Swimming Club in Nadi broke four records of the eight records that were broken altogether, at the ANZ Fiji Swimming Long Course National, that was held over the weekend.

Fiji Swimming secretary, Vuki Buadromo said the young swimmers showed a lot of dedication and competition, and officials are rest assured that Fiji will stamp its mark again, as champions in swimming in the Pacific, in a few years time.

Tritons Swimming Club took out first place with 45 gold, followed by Race Club with 37 gold, Makos Swimming Club was second with 34 gold, Suva Stingrays Club came in third with 25 gold while Nadi Barracudas Club settled for fourth place with 20 gold.

There are currently six clubs affiliated to Fiji Swimming.
