The allocation of the $8.5 million incentive for landowners for the development of land and releasing of their land that have expired will result in landowners from Vanua Levu renewing their leases.
Tui Macuata Ratu Aisea Katonivere said it is important for the government to assist the landowners and he will encourage the landowners to renew leases in return for the incentives that the government has given.
