An 83-year-old man from Nadi will be produced in court today after he allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl between the 16th of last month and last Friday.
Police say the elderly man allegedly raped the 10-year-old girl on four separate occasions.
The 83-year-old is a security officer at a supermarket complex.
It is alleged that he befriended the child at the supermarket over a period of time before committing the offence.
The man has been charged with two counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault.
