DISMAC in the Western Division has confirmed that total of 81 people are homeless today in the West as strong winds and heavy rainfall damaged their homes.
According to officials, six houses in Naibalebale, two houses in Viwa, three in Koro were destroyed, one house in Toge, 13 houses in Drala village, Naloto District School in Toqe and Yasawa High School also received some damages.
There were also reports of fallen power poles in Sarokoba along the Kings road.
Meanwhile, two fisherman of Lautoka are missing who went out fishing yesterday and failed to return.
