Police are investigating the discovery of an 8 month old fetus in a rubbish dump in Lautoka yesterday.
Deputy Divisional Crime Officer Western ASP Manasa Talala said a police team recovered the fetus which was wrapped in a plastic bag.
He said a 25 year old woman is under investigation.
It is alleged she wrapped the fetus in a plastic bag and allegedly dumped it.
She is admitted in the Lautoka hospital under police guard.
