The top 8 local clubs vying for the $25,000 dollars at stake for the Uprising International Sevens have been confirmed.

Leading the charge is defending champion, Red Rock with losing finalist Army Green.

Fiji’s current best sevens teams at the moment, Wardens that have won three tournaments in a row from the Coral Coast, Dreketi and Vuda Sevens is also in the mix.

The other sides are Police, Ratu Filise, and Marist and host Uprising.

So far the overseas teams that will be coming are France and Australian Thunderbolts with the organisers finalising the other six teams from abroad.

The Uprising International Sevens will be held at the TFL National Stadium from the 20th to the 21st of January.
