Flying Fijians coach Sam Domoni has made eight changes to his starting XV to face Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Friday.

Gloucester flanker Akapusi Qera drops to the bench after starting Saturday's 34-12 defeat to France in Nantes, while Clermont flyer Napolioni Nalaga is left out of the 22.

Josh Matavesi and Saracens wing Michael Tagicakibau have been named in the first line-up with Toulon's Gabiriele Lovobalavu in the centre, Deacon Manu continues as captain.

Campese Ma'afu demotes Graham Dewes, who scored the winning try against Wales at the 2007 World Cup, to the bench as he takes the loose head prop and Viliame Veikoso gets the hooker's jersey.

There are six survivors from the 22 that famously defeated Wales three years ago.

Domoni said the side he has named is a well balanced squad, and many factors have come into play such as visa problems, but he has all the confidence that the players he has selected will deliver.

Looking at the team to play Wales, captain is Deacon Manu, Josh Matavesi, Michael Tagicakibau, Albert Vulivuli, Gabriele Lovobalavu, Vereniki Goneva, Seremaia Baï, Nemia Kenatale, Sisa Koyamaibole, Malakai Ravulo, Semisi Naevo, Jone Qovu, Ifereimi Rawaqa, Viliame Veikoso and Campese Ma'afu

The Flying Fijians versus Wales match kicks off at 8:30am on Saturday.
