After the semifinals from yesterday, eight schools from the Southern zone have managed to book their spot in the Deans competition quarter-finals.

This was after AOG’s under 18 upset Southern zone champions Suva Grammar in the semi finals 20-13 while Nasinu Secondary defeated Marist Brother 20-23.
 
In the finals next week, AOG will meet their rivals and neighbors Nasinu Secondary, RSMS and Marist in the under 17, while Grammar and Marist will meet in the under 16, 15 and 14.

Meanwhile, the schools that will be fighting over the third spot in the play-offs are Suva Grammar and Marist Brothers High School in the under 18, John Wesley College and Dudley High in the under 17, Laucala Bay Secondary and Ratu Sukuna Memorial School in the under 16, Dudley High and John Wesley in the under 15 while Latter Day Saints faces Dudley high in the under 14.
