The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has booked 8 bus drivers in the Central Division for not issuing tickets to passengers.
LTA Chief Executive Etuate Koroi confirmed these drivers were found pocketing the bus takings and LTA is in process of booking other drivers from various locations.
Koroi said the drivers will have to pay a $50 fine and if booked again they may have their license suspended.
Koroi reminds all bus passengers to demand for a ticket when they board a bus as this measure has been taken for their benefit.
