The Telecom Fijiana Sevens team has finished in seventh place at the 2015 Dubai Sevens after beating Spain 31‑14.

Fiji scored five tries in the match with Captain, Ana Maria Roqica crossing over the try line twice.

Other tries came from Litia Naiqato, Tima Tamoi and Talica Vodo.

Fiji also lost to New Zealand 33‑12 in the first plate semifinal.

The Fijiana side had lost to France 19‑12 in the quarterfinal.

Meanwhile, Australia has won the Women's competition of the Dubai Sevens by beating Russia 31-12.

New Zealand beat Canada 24-19 to win the plate final.

Fiji is now in seventh place in the Women's HSBC Sevens World Series table with 8 points.

In first place is Australia with 20 points, second is Russia with 18 points while third is England with 16 points.
